2010-2012 Board Member Application
It is that time of year again and we are looking for anyone interested in filling any vacant
positions on the EYFL Board or one of its committees. If you are interested, please
review the expectations below and complete the application at the bottom. Becoming a board
member is a year round commitment, not just for the season
Board Member Expectations:
ć Serve a 2 year term
ć Act in the Players/Cheerleaders best interest at all times
ć Work together to run the league to the best of their ability
ć Make motions, and vote on all aspects of the league
ć Assist parents and coaches with questions and issues
ć May be asked to serve on a special committee by the President
ć Work at games were ever needed from start to finish (this includes time clock,
concessions, field setup, etc)
ć Need to be able to attend a majority of our meetings You can be subject to
removal after missing 3 consecutive meetings. Extenuating circumstances will be
taken into consideration if you cannot meet these criteria.
ć If you are not interested in becoming a Board Member we are always looking for
parents to serve on our many committees. An example of these committees
would include Fundraising, Banquet, Game 50-50¡¦s etc¡K
Applications are due by December 31st. Election for new board members will
be held at our annual re-organization meeting in January. All applications will be
reviewed by the present board and either approved or denied |
